About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a premier provider of technical staffing, inspection, and outsourcing services to the Nigerian oil and gas industry. We are currently seeking a skilled Engineering Fluids Advisor III to deliver expert technical and operational support for drilling and completion fluids, solids control, and waste management. In this role, you will act as a key technical resource, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and adherence to global best practices across our complex projects.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive technical and operational support for drilling and completion fluids selection, design, and management.
- Oversee the safe and accurate addition of materials to fluid systems while ensuring proper labeling and up-to-date material safety data sheets.
- Monitor solids control equipment to ensure optimal working conditions for ongoing operations.
- Forecast material and equipment spare needs to maintain adequate inventory and optimize storage space and costs.
- Deliver daily inventory reports, fluid summaries, and recommended actions to the company location supervisor.
- Conduct thorough technical audits of vendor processes and facilities to maintain strict quality standards.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
- Extensive professional experience in drilling fluids, solids control, and waste management operations.
- Demonstrated experience in water-based, non-aqueous drilling fluids, and various completion fluids.
- Prior experience in deep water drilling operations (1000m) and international assignments is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
