About the Role

We are currently looking for a dependable, experienced, and safety-conscious Van Driver to join our dynamic logistics team in Lagos. In this role, you will be the face of our distribution network, ensuring timely and secure delivery of products to our valued retail and corporate clients while maintaining exceptional standards of vehicle care.
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate company sales vans to deliver products to assigned customers and routes across Lagos and surrounding areas.
- Adhere strictly to all Nigerian road safety regulations, traffic laws, and company driving policies.
- Accurately load vans with the correct inventory at the start of each business day and assist with offloading when necessary.
- Conduct thorough daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, checking fuel, tires, oil, and lights.
- Report any mechanical faults or maintenance issues promptly to the Operations Manager.
- Maintain the cleanliness, security, and overall roadworthiness of the assigned vehicle at all times.
- Minimum of an SSCE or OND qualification; additional training in logistics or supply chain is an added advantage.
- Possession of a valid Nigerian driver’s license with a clean driving record and proven defensive driving skills.
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience working as a van driver or in a distribution role, preferably within the FMCG sector.
- In-depth knowledge of Lagos geography and surrounding navigation routes.
- Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills to manage delivery logs and inventory receipts.
- Physically fit and able to lift, load, and unload stock safely.
