About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is recruiting a skilled Utility Engineer for our esteemed client in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) manufacturing sector. In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of all essential plant utility systems to support uninterrupted production cycles, optimize energy efficiency, and maintain the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Operate, monitor, and maintain core plant utility equipment including chillers, boilers, steamers, HVAC systems, cooling towers, compressors, pumps, and generators.
- Track critical utility parameters such as pressure, temperature, flow rates, and overall energy consumption.
- Execute proactive preventive maintenance schedules and swiftly perform corrective repairs to minimize unexpected production downtime.
- Oversee the consistent supply of steam, chilled water, compressed air, industrial water, and electrical power across the facility.
- Maintain comprehensive utility logs, document equipment performance metrics, and support continuous cost-reduction initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with production and maintenance teams while strictly enforcing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) compliance.
- Bachelor degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 3 to 6 years of hands-on utility engineering experience specifically within the FMCG or manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrated technical expertise in troubleshooting and servicing industrial chillers, boilers, HVAC, and compressed air systems.
