About the Role
International Breweries Plc, a renowned leader in the beverage manufacturing sector and part of the global AB InBev family, is looking for a skilled Utilities Machine Specialist to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this critical engineering role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing our E&F plant and associated devices to guarantee maximum plant availability and exceptional product quality at minimum cost, all while upholding our rigorous safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Apply sound engineering principles to assist E&F production teams in achieving optimal plant performance and stability.
- Provide frontline technical support for situational and systemic problem-solving within the utilities department.
- Execute identified process optimization initiatives and comprehensive process capability studies.
- Provide design and execution support for regional capital projects while leading smaller CAPIN projects in E&F plants.
- Coach process engineering trainees and assist in identifying and closing technological gaps.
- Manage, coordinate, and implement improvement projects ensuring full compliance with VPO principles and GOP requirements.
- Minimum of a B.Sc. or HND in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience as a Utilities Technician or in a similar engineering capacity within a manufacturing environment.
- Deep understanding of utilities plants, process controls, automation, plant design, and commissioning.
- Rigorous analytical skills with a proven ability to solve complex technical problems independently.
