About the Role

WTS Energy is seeking an experienced Head of Mechanical to lead the mechanical maintenance function for rotating, static, lifting, and marine equipment. Reporting to the Maintenance Operations Manager, you will ensure equipment integrity, optimize maintenance strategies, and provide technical expertise to support offshore oil and gas operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Maintenance Plan and coordinate efficient maintenance work packages.
  • Provide technical expertise to address equipment failures, performance losses, and monitor machinery condition.
  • Act as Technical Authority for Mechanic and SECE Guardian for designated safety-critical elements.
  • Administer contractor competence, performance, and vendor support through audits and training initiatives.
  • Manage mechanical spare parts, material administration, and ensure adequate stock management parameters.
  • Control and ensure accurate data capture in SAP (UNISUP) while performing analysis for optimization.
  • Ensure all operations strictly comply with Company rules, procedures, specifications, and HSE standards.
  • Contribute to the training and development of local engineers and technicians, acting for the Maintenance Operations Manager when necessary.
Qualifications
  • A recognized degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 10 years of overall engineering experience, with at least 5 years specifically in the petrochemical industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory operational role within oil and gas or offshore environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of turbo machinery and mechanical maintenance strategies.
  • Proficiency in SAP (UNISUP) or similar Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Strong leadership, team development, and cross-functional communication skills.
