Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons tailored to upper elementary students in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Manage the classroom environment effectively to promote positive student behavior, active participation, and a safe learning atmosphere.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, school administration, and parents to support the holistic academic and social development of each child.
- Organize and supervise extracurricular activities, school events, and educational field trips.
- Create an inclusive and nurturing classroom culture that caters to the diverse learning needs of all pupils.
- Hold a minimum of an NCE, B.Sc, B.Ed, or M.Ed qualification in Education or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated passion for teaching, mentoring, and caring for children in an academic setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage students, parents, and colleagues.
- Exceptional classroom management skills with a proven track record of maintaining discipline and focus.
- Prior teaching experience in an elementary school environment will be an added advantage.
