About the Role

We are currently expanding our Faculty of Social and Management Science and seeking a passionate and qualified academic professional to join our team as a Lecturer II in International Relations. In this role, you will contribute to our mission of providing globally competitive education while fostering critical thinking and impactful research.
Key Responsibilities- Teach assigned undergraduate courses in International Relations and related political science disciplines.
- Develop comprehensive course materials, syllabi, and innovative assessments.
- Engage in active academic research, publication, and scholarly activities.
- Provide academic advising, mentoring, and support to undergraduate students.
- Participate in departmental meetings, committee work, and university-wide community service initiatives.
- Must possess a Master’s Degree or PhD in International Relations, Political Science, International Studies, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching, research, or professional experience.
- Possession of a PhD will be a distinct advantage.
- Demonstrated evidence of academic research potential and publications.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and ICT proficiency for modern teaching methodologies.
- Must currently reside in Abuja, Nigeria.
