About the Role

Proforce Limited, a leading total defence solution provider specializing in armoured vehicles and advanced protective systems, is seeking a skilled UAV Engineer for our Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) unit located in Ode-Remo, Ogun State. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management, diagnostic troubleshooting, and structural repair of both fixed-wing and rotary-wing unmanned aerial systems, ensuring all deployed assets meet rigorous safety and performance benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, pre-flight, and post-flight inspections on diverse UAV platforms in compliance with OEM specifications.
  • Diagnose and isolate complex electrical, mechanical, and software-related faults, executing component-level repairs and wiring harness fabrication.
  • Perform major overhauls on high-flight-hour UAVs, install firmware updates, and conduct rigorous hardware-in-the-loop bench testing.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and technical documentation in strict adherence to Safety Management Systems.
  • Manage spare parts inventory, tools calibration, and provide technical support during field operations and customer deployments.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree or HND in Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on technical experience in UAV maintenance, aerospace MRO, or a closely related electro-mechanical field.
  • Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, using diagnostic tools, and operating Ground Control Station software like Mission Planner.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of composite material repair, soldering, and sensor calibration.
  • Strong analytical abilities, high attention to detail, and a steadfast commitment to workplace safety.
