In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the electrical integrity of our heavy-duty fleet, ensuring our trucks remain safe, reliable, and efficient on Nigerian roads.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair complex starting, charging, lighting, and wiring systems on heavy-duty trucks.
- Service, repair, and replace alternators, starters, batteries, sensors, and electronic control systems.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment to accurately pinpoint electrical faults.
- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on truck electrical and electronic systems to minimize downtime.
- Perform thorough troubleshooting and electrical repairs under pressure while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Ensure all electrical maintenance work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of proven professional experience as a Truck or Heavy-Duty Vehicle Electrician.
- Demonstrated expertise working on heavy-duty diesel trucks and commercial vehicle fleets.
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern truck electrical architecture and electronic control systems.
- Prior hands-on experience within the haulage or logistics industry is a distinct advantage.
