We are currently seeking a reliable, professional, and experienced Truck Driver to join our dedicated logistics team. In this role, you will play a vital part in our supply chain operations by ensuring the secure, efficient, and timely transportation of company assets and materials across various locations in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate company trucks and commercial vehicles over long and short distances in compliance with Nigerian traffic laws.
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure optimal mechanical condition and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Plan travel routes efficiently, considering traffic conditions, weather, and delivery schedules to ensure on-time arrivals.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery records, fuel consumption reports, and vehicle maintenance documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols, driving regulations, and standard operating procedures.
- Relevant educational qualifications and a valid commercial driver's license with clean driving records.
- Minimum of 3 to 10 years of professional truck driving and logistics experience within Nigeria.
- Extensive knowledge of Nigerian road networks, routes, and traffic regulations.
- Strong commitment to road safety, punctuality, and vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and long-distance travels when required.
