About the Role
Robeck Locks Ltd, a trusted importer and distributor of stylish, high-quality door locksets and hardware since 2001, is seeking a responsible and experienced Driver to join our growing logistics team. In this role, you will play a vital part in keeping our operations running smoothly by safely transporting furniture hardware to our branches and valued customers while upholding our commitment to reliability and excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport and deliver goods to company branches, customers, and designated locations across Lagos and occasionally outside the state.
- Supervise the loading and unloading processes to ensure all products are properly secured and handled with care.
- Verify cargo against delivery documents and secure signed confirmations of receipt upon delivery.
- Perform daily routine vehicle checks, maintain cleanliness, and report mechanical faults promptly to management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs for trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery records.
- Strictly adhere to Nigerian traffic laws, company safety procedures, and report any delays or road incidents immediately.
- Valid Nigerian Driver’s Licence appropriate for operating both mini trucks (such as a Mitsubishi Canter) and delivery vans.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience with a proven track record of handling commercial vehicles.
- Extensive knowledge of Lagos road networks, with specific familiarity in areas such as Amuwo Odofin, Mushin, and Ipaja.
- Confident ability to drive manual transmission vehicles safely in heavy traffic conditions.
- Basic literacy and communication skills to read delivery documentation and communicate effectively in English.
