About the Role

Asset & Resource Management Holding Company (ARM Hold Co) is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Treasury Settlement Analyst to oversee our treasury settlement sub-unit operations. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant execution of all financial transactions, placements, and liquidations while supporting our broader asset management objectives within Nigeria's vibrant financial sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute all institutional client and fund transactions regarding interbank placements and liquidations by preparing counterparty instructions and uploading payments on bank platforms.
  • Ensure prompt execution and settlement of securities trades, including FGN Bonds, Treasury Bills, and Eurobonds, through designated custodians.
  • Maintain timely and accurate daily transaction records, covering investments, liquidations, and securities trades on maturities blotters and portfolio management systems.
  • Prepare and distribute daily interbank settlement reports, such as the Financial Institution (FI) Database, to internal stakeholders.
  • Perform daily call-overs of initiated transactions to guarantee accurate execution and reconcile outstanding transactions against SEC and custodian reports.
  • Retrieve and verify contract notes from counterparties to ensure trade parameters match agreed terms.
  • Provide comprehensive bank relationship management, funds management, and administrative support for ARM Investor Notes using Deluxe software.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in leading treasury settlement functions within the financial services industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of diverse treasury products and financial instruments.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to balance business opportunities against risk objectives.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
