About the Role
Akenn Travels and Tours LTD is a dynamic travel company headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria, dedicated to revolutionizing the travel industry through innovative technology and personalized service offerings. We are currently looking for a talented and detail-oriented Travel Consultant & Visa Specialist to join our growing team and deliver exceptional tech-driven travel experiences to our diverse clientele, including corporate clients, families, and leisure groups.
Key Responsibilities- Consult with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, budget, and purpose of travel.
- Design, recommend, and develop attractive FIT, group, and leisure travel packages and itineraries.
- Research destinations, hotels, flights, tours, transfers, and other travel components while preparing accurate quotations.
- Advise clients on complex visa requirements, review documentation, and support applications from profiling to submission.
- Coordinate bookings, confirmations, and pre-travel arrangements with airlines, hotels, DMCs, and tour operators.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to support the launch and promotion of innovative Akenn travel products.
- Handle travel changes, disruptions, and client issues professionally while maintaining accurate records.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in travel consulting, travel management, or visa advisory services.
- Strong knowledge of international travel planning, top global destinations, and travel products.
- Proven practical experience in designing tailored itineraries, travel packages, and managing client bookings.
- Comprehensive understanding of global visa requirements and supporting documentation processes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with outstanding attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving, commercial awareness, and organizational abilities to manage multiple deadlines.
