About the Role
Sinoma Nigeria Company Limited, an affiliate of Sinoma International Engineering Co., Ltd and China Sinoma Group, is a leading EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) turnkey project specialist. We are looking for a dedicated and bilingual Translator to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in bridging language gaps, ensuring smooth daily operations, and supporting our management teams across various construction and engineering initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate seamless daily communication between Chinese expatriates and local Nigerian team members.
- Translate technical, administrative, and general documents accurately between Chinese and English.
- Assist the management team with administrative tasks, scheduling, and project coordination.
- Act as a cultural and linguistic liaison to foster effective workplace collaboration.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive project and corporate information.
- Fluent in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Proven experience in translation and interpretation within a corporate or construction environment.
- Proficient in computer operations, including Microsoft Office Suite and general office software.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant degree in Linguistics, Chinese Studies, Translation, or a related field is an added advantage.
