About the Role
252 Lighthouse is an emerging children's development, recreation and wellness centre located in Lokogoma, Abuja. We are creating a safe, exciting and nurturing space where children can learn, play, explore their creativity, build confidence and develop important life skills. As we prepare to open our doors, we are seeking a responsible, skilled, creative and enthusiastic Children Hairdresser to join our vibrant team on a full-time or shift-based schedule starting 1st December 2026.
Key Responsibilities- Provide children's hair washing, detangling, braiding, twists, cornrows, and other suitable styling services.
- Recommend gentle, age-appropriate hair-care practices and products.
- Ensure that hairstyles are comfortable and do not place excessive tension on children's hair or scalp.
- Maintain clean tools, towels, workstations, and salon equipment adhering to strict hygiene standards.
- Engage children positively and patiently to help them feel relaxed and happy during appointments.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding hairstyle preferences, home hair care, and service charges.
- Demonstrated professional experience in hairdressing, with a strong focus on children's hairstyles and natural hair care.
- Exceptional braiding, cornrowing, and detangling skills with knowledge of gentle products for kids. boundless patience, creativity, and outstanding customer service skills.
