Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on transit mixer vehicles and heavy-duty mechanical systems.
  • Inspect hydraulic systems, engines, transmissions, and braking systems to ensure optimal operational safety and efficiency.
  • Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults using specialized diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on concrete mixer trucks to prevent unexpected breakdowns on project sites.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair records, and parts inventory usage for all serviced vehicles.
  • Adhere strictly to company safety policies and environmental regulations while working in workshop and field environments.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience maintaining and repairing heavy-duty vehicles, specifically concrete mixer trucks.
  • Proven technical knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, pneumatic controls, and electrical wiring.
  • Relevant trade certification, diploma, or mechanical engineering apprenticeship from a recognized institution.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail when diagnosing mechanical failures.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, demanding engineering and construction environment.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to operate heavy commercial vehicles are added advantages.
