About the Role
Alpha Bravo Integrated Services Limited specializes in providing customized solutions to companies operating in the Maritime, Petrochemical, Energy, Oil, and Gas sectors. Our diverse service offerings include marine solutions, rig moves, swamp tugs and barges, offshore vessels, skilled manpower, technical services, engineering design, and advanced laser scanning. We are currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Mechanical Design Engineer to support our engineering department by learning and applying modern design methodologies under the guidance of seasoned professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Assist senior engineers in creating detailed mechanical designs, drawings, and 3D models using industry-standard CAD software.
- Participate in engineering design reviews, technical calculations, and the preparation of project documentation.
- Support the technical services and laser scanning teams with data processing, site measurements, and layout assessments.
- Conduct research on materials, equipment specifications, and regulatory standards relevant to the oil, gas, and maritime sectors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across marine, petrochemical, and energy projects to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
- Maintain and organize engineering archives, project files, and technical specifications efficiently.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with 0 to 2 years of relevant experience, including completed NYSC.
- Basic proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar engineering tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical skills with a keen eye for technical detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to thrive in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment.
