We are currently looking for a passionate and driven Trainee Civil / Structural Design Engineer to support our expanding engineering design division in Nigeria. Key Responsibilities- Assist senior engineers in the preparation of civil and structural engineering design calculations and drawings.
- Utilize industry-standard computer-aided design software to develop detailed 2D and 3D structural models.
- Participate in technical drawing reviews, site surveys, and engineering data collection activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across marine, oil, and gas operations to ensure project specifications are met.
- Perform quantity take-offs, material estimations, and assist in preparing comprehensive technical reports.
- Ensure all engineering designs comply with relevant local and international industry codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to two years of relevant internship or post-NYSC experience.
- Basic proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, or Revit.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong willingness to learn.
