About the Role
Bell Oil & Gas is a leading wholly-owned Nigerian independent oil services company committed to delivering high-quality products and services with deep industry expertise. We are currently looking for a motivated Trainee Accountant who is undergoing the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program to kick-start their career in a fast-paced corporate finance environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the finance and accounting department with daily bookkeeping and ledger maintenance.
- Support the preparation of financial reports, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
- Collaborate with team members on accounts payable and receivable processing.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and company policies.
- Perform general administrative duties and ad-hoc financial analysis tasks as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Must have successfully completed the 21-day NYSC orientation camp.
- Must have not less than 6 months remaining to complete the NYSC service year.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
