About the Role

Deutsche Partners Holding (DPH) is an independently-owned financial services firm specializing in Investment Banking, Asset Management, Securities, and Trustees. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Fund & Investment Manager to strengthen our investment management function and drive the effective management and growth of the Company's investment portfolios. The successful candidate will bring strong investment judgement, analytical capability, market knowledge, and a demonstrable track record of managing investment portfolios in alignment with SEC Nigeria regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute investment strategies aligned with fund objectives and risk appetite.
  • Manage and optimise investment portfolios to achieve targeted risk-adjusted returns.
  • Conduct detailed research, financial analysis, and valuation of investment opportunities.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend attractive investment opportunities across relevant asset classes.
  • Prepare investment proposals, financial models, and investment papers for Management and the Investment Committee.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, asset allocation, NAV, liquidity, benchmarks, and investment risks.
  • Ensure effective portfolio diversification and adherence to approved investment mandates.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, custodians, financial institutions, fund managers, and issuers.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable SEC Nigeria regulations and internal investment policies.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to investment analysts and other members of the investment team.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
  • Master's Degree or MBA in Finance, Investment Management, or Economics is an advantage.
  • CFA Charterholder is highly desirable along with SEC Nigeria regulatory licensing.
  • 7-10 years of progressive professional experience in asset management, fund management, or capital markets.
  • Strong knowledge of portfolio construction, asset allocation, and investment risk management.
