About the Role
Kursi Group Limited is one of Nigeria’s leading diversified conglomerates, operating across mining, mineral processing, agriculture, finance, and international trade. We are currently looking for a dynamic Trades Officer to support our growing Group Trade Desk in Abuja, ensuring efficient execution of domestic and international trade activities.
Key Responsibilities- Support the execution of trading strategies, pricing models, and commercial plans as directed by the Trades Manager.
- Manage end-to-end import and export shipments, including freight coordination, Form M, PAAR, NXP processing, and customs clearance.
- Gather market intelligence, analyse pricing trends, and maintain comprehensive supplier and client databases.
- Prepare accurate trade documentation, quotations, and maintain audit-ready shipment files.
- Coordinate with Finance and Operations to reconcile freight charges, manage inventory, and ensure strict regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in trading, supply chain, procurement, or import and export operations.
- Working knowledge of international trade laws, Nigeria Customs Service procedures, and CBN regulations.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship management skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
