About the Role
Siemens AG is a global technology powerhouse focusing on the areas of electrification, automation, and digitalization. As a Regional Tooling Center Manager based in our dynamic regional network, you will oversee day-to-day operations of the tool center supporting critical Field Service activities across Europe and Africa. You will combine hands-on technical understanding with team leadership, logistics, inventory management, and budgeting to ensure reliable and efficient tooling support for gas services projects.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the maintenance, functional checks, calibration, and condition assessment of tools and technical equipment.
- Manage tool inventory, life-cycle records, and equipment usage through digital warehouse systems.
- Coordinate with technical and field service teams to ensure timely equipment availability, dispatch, and return.
- Lead and manage tool center personnel, promoting strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards including LOTO and PPE.
- Drive budgeting, CAPEX planning, and continuous process improvements using 5S and data-driven insights.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in field service, workshop environments, or logistics management.
- Proven background in managing tooling, equipment inventory, and digital warehouse workflows.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience coordinating technical personnel and cross-functional teams.
- Technical or mechanical education background is highly preferred.
- Fluent English communication skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
