About the Role
Erisco Foods Limited, a leading indigenous manufacturer of quality food products in Nigeria known for iconic brands like Nagiko and Ric-Giko, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Territorial Sales Manager to join our growing team in Ilorin. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in expanding our market share, driving revenue growth, and strengthening our brand presence within the assigned territory through strategic planning and exceptional field execution.
Key Responsibilities- Devise and execute effective territory sales and marketing strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Analyze regional market data to identify the most efficient sales methods and growth opportunities.
- Meet regularly with key customers and distributors to address concerns and provide effective solutions.
- Discover new sales opportunities through comprehensive consumer and market research.
- Present Erisco Foods products and services professionally to prospective customers and stakeholders.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and promotional activities to cultivate lasting customer relationships.
- Conduct product and sales technique training for field teams to enhance performance.
- Assess individual and team sales performance according to established KPIs and metrics.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and product positioning within the assigned region.
- Prepare and submit accurate periodic reports to the National Sales and Marketing Manager.
- B.Sc or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or any related field.
- Proven professional experience as a Territory Manager or similar field sales role within the FMCG sector.
- A proven track record of consistently increasing sales revenue and expanding distribution networks.
- Strong ability to develop comprehensive sales strategies and utilize performance KPIs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Must reside in Ilorin with close proximity to the designated operational location.
