On behalf of our client in the transport and logistics sector, we are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to fill the role of Terminal Manager in Anambra State.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving the overall efficiency of terminal operations, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring strict adherence to safety and compliance policies. You will lead a diverse team of operational staff and drivers while managing revenue collection and reporting directly to executive management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily terminal operations, ensuring seamless vehicle arrivals, departures, and passenger boarding schedules.
  • Supervise terminal staff, drivers, and support personnel, fostering teamwork, discipline, and high productivity.
  • Guarantee excellent customer service by promptly resolving passenger complaints and maintaining a professional environment.
  • Enforce strict safety protocols, monitor vehicle and terminal conditions, and manage proper incident reporting.
  • Monitor ticketing, cash collections, and daily financial transactions to ensure accurate revenue protection and accountability.
  • Coordinate closely with the logistics and operations teams to tackle operational challenges and improve efficiency.
  • Prepare comprehensive daily and weekly reports on terminal performance, safety incidents, and passenger feedback.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree or HND in Business Administration, Transport Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  • Proven working experience in transportation, terminal, fleet, or logistics management.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with excellent problem-solving, conflict management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple operational demands effectively.
  • Residency in Anambra State is strongly preferred for this location-specific operational role.
