About the Role

Ponticelli Nigeria, a subsidiary of the renowned Ponticelli Frères Group, is a leading provider of world-class construction and upgrade services for onshore and offshore oil and gas facilities. We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Tender Manager to join our project-based team in Port Harcourt. In this critical role, you will lead and oversee large-scale industrial construction bids, ensuring profitability and adherence to our uncompromising health, safety, and quality standards while contributing to the future of energy infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine tender documentation, including operational provisions, technical specifications, and commercial requirements.
  • Liaise with suppliers, partners, and internal departments to define deliverables and technical solutions.
  • Perform cost calculations, project budgeting, and draft execution strategies and work schedules.
  • Prepare, issue, and submit comprehensive technical and commercial proposals according to client requirements.
  • Manage customer relationships and attend meetings during tender clarification stages through to final award.
  • Ensure proper peer reviews are carried out for each tender and maintain complete records for efficient handover to project teams.
  • Collaborate with technical, contract, procurement, planning, and risk management departments regarding method statements, subcontractor selection, and tender risks.
  • Engage in business development activities such as conference attendance and industry networking as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar tender, bid, or proposal engineering role within an Oil and Gas EPC company.
  • Familiarity with general specifications and requirements for EPC and offshore oil and gas projects.
  • Excellent communication skills with professional fluency in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cost spreadsheets, pricing, and document management systems.
