About the Role
ipNX Nigeria Limited, a leading provider of infrastructure-based telecommunications and IT services in Nigeria, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Telecommunications Deployment Project Supervisor. In this role, you will be directly responsible for project execution planning, site monitoring, stakeholder engagement, and risk mitigation to ensure seamless service delivery for our growing subscriber base.
You will conduct regular site visits, guide contractors through complex installations, and oversee the final integration and commissioning of service terminals. If you possess a strong background in fiber optics deployment and stakeholder management, we invite you to join our expanding team.
Key Responsibilities- Acknowledge, review, and take ownership of assigned project design packs, BOMs, and work plans within established timelines.
- Conduct kick-off meetings with facility managers, contractors, and relevant stakeholders while ensuring strict adherence to work methods and safety guidelines.
- Actively supervise civil works, cable pulling, splicing, termination, and final integration of GPON and P2P service terminals.
- Monitor material quality, enforce HSE standards on site, and ensure all deployments meet ipNX quality thresholds and SLA deadlines.
- Manage stakeholder relationships proactively to minimize escalations and ensure prompt resolution of site issues or community bottlenecks.
- Submit comprehensive daily activity reports, milestone updates, splice reports, and OTDR trace test results within 24 hours of task completion.
- University Degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or Applied Sciences.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in supervising fiber infrastructure projects across estates, MDUs, and metro high streets.
- Certifications in Fibre Optic Cabling (CFOT/FOA) and HSE Grade III will be distinct advantages.
- Proficiency in fiber test tools including OTDR, power meters, light sources, and VFLs.
- Working knowledge of design and data analytics software such as AutoCAD, Visio, and Microsoft Excel.
