We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Mid-Level Biomedical Engineer to join our expanding Healthcare team on a full-time, on-site basis in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform installation, calibration, and routine testing of diverse medical equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation in clinical settings.
  • Manage and execute comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules to minimize device downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues, diagnose equipment malfunctions, and conduct necessary repairs promptly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all service activities, calibration records, and equipment maintenance histories.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, suppliers, and internal clinical teams to source replacement parts and manage service contracts.
  • Ensure full compliance with relevant Nigerian healthcare regulations, medical equipment safety standards, and quality assurance practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional healthcare teams to optimize device performance and support continuous improvement in clinical workflows.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.
  • Demonstrated practical experience in a biomedical engineering role within a hospital, clinic, or medical device environment.
  • Proficiency in medical equipment management, technical troubleshooting, and reading complex schematics or service manuals.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in executing equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations, medical safety standards, and quality assurance protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with technical and clinical staff.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities to prioritize multiple service requests efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
