About the Role
Crown Polytechnic, a privately owned tertiary institution established in 2008 and accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), is recruiting a Technologist for Television and Radio Studio Engineering. Based in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, we are committed to delivering excellence in technical education and practical broadcasting experience.
Key Responsibilities- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot television and radio studio equipment
- Manage broadcast technical infrastructure and ensure optimal performance
- Support live and recorded programming production activities
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and preventive maintenance
- Train students on proper studio equipment usage and safety protocols
- Collaborate with faculty and production teams on technical requirements
- Document technical issues and maintain equipment logs
- Ensure compliance with broadcast standards and technical regulations
- Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mass Communication or closely related field
- Proficiency in television and radio broadcast equipment operation
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of studio engineering principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
