About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and competent professional to join our technical staff as a Technologist II.
Key Responsibilities- Assist academic staff in the preparation and delivery of practical laboratory or workshop sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot specialized laboratory and workshop equipment.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized working environment within the facility.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of laboratory materials, reagents, and equipment.
- Support ongoing research activities and departmental projects as assigned by the head of department.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on technical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Must possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) or a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. / Professional Degree) in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program or possess a valid exemption certificate.
- Must be fully registrable with the relevant professional institute or body.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
