Key Responsibilities- Liaise with shift technicians to promptly identify and repair problematic plant equipment.
- Execute corrective and preventive maintenance schedules in compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and the mandatory use of personal protective equipment.
- Conduct weekly tool inventories and maintain proper upkeep of all working tools and tackle.
- Perform equipment inspections, adjustments, and minor fixture replacements.
- Log data for spares, consumables, and work orders within enterprise resource planning systems like SAP.
- Diagnose and analyze machinery breakdowns exceeding thirty minutes, reporting major issues to sectional engineers.
- Maintain housekeeping standards by clearing all scrap materials immediately after maintenance activities.
- SSCE qualification with a minimum of 10 years of relevant industrial experience.
- Alternatively, Trade Test I in a mechanical discipline with 8 years of experience, or Trade Test II with 16 years of experience.
- Alternatively, an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Mechanical Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical systems with speed and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of cement production processes and packing machinery functions is highly advantageous.
