About the Role
Abuja Clinics was established in 1989 as a health institution to provide efficient medical services to the then budding Federal Capital Territory (FCT). From humble beginnings, it has grown into a group of three hospitals located in Karu, Garki, and Maitama districts of the FCT. The group possesses advanced medical equipment to assist its team of highly qualified and dedicated health personnel, operating across major fields of medicine including surgery, pediatrics, and radiology. We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Plumber to join our facility management team and ensure our plumbing infrastructure operates seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities- Installs pipes, plumbing systems, and sanitary fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and specialized hospital plumbing equipment.
- Installs secure supports for pipes, equipment, and plumbing fixtures prior to final installation.
- Collaborates effectively with contractors, construction workers, and electricians to install and repair plumbing systems efficiently.
- Performs routine maintenance checks and preventative servicing on all hospital plumbing and drainage systems to prevent disruptions.
- Responds promptly to emergency plumbing maintenance requests and troubleshoots leaks, blockages, or pipe failures across all facility locations.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Possession of a recognized Trade Test Certification in plumbing and pipefitting.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in maintenance plumbing, preferably within a corporate, hospitality, or healthcare environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary facility teams.
