About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking skilled and motivated Electrical, Mechanical, PDI, and EV Technicians to join our growing aftersales and service team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Candidates with specialized experience in electric vehicles and pre-delivery inspections will have a distinct advantage in this fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and mechanical or electrical repairs on vehicles according to manufacturer specifications.
- Utilize modern diagnostic equipment and technical manuals to identify and rectify complex vehicle faults.
- Conduct thorough Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) to ensure all vehicles meet strict quality and safety benchmarks prior to customer handover.
- Service electrical vehicle (EV) systems safely, adhering strictly to high-voltage protocols and procedures.
- Complete all repair orders, service documentation, and inspection logs accurately and within established timelines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment while properly caring for company tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Collaborate seamlessly with service advisors, workshop supervisors, and fellow technicians to meet team and productivity targets.
- OND, HND, Diploma, or Trade Test Certificate in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of hands-on professional experience within the automotive industry.
- Recognized technical certifications from an automotive OEM or accredited institution are strongly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for vehicle safety and quality details.
