Key Responsibilities- Installing, maintaining, and servicing renewable energy systems, including solar power setups and related infrastructure.
- Conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical and renewable energy equipment.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting complex electrical, inverter, battery, and solar system faults.
- Carrying out prompt repairs and replacements of faulty components and equipment.
- Performing system testing and commissioning to ensure optimal functionality, safety, and performance.
- Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, wiring layouts, and technical manuals.
- Ensuring all installations comply with industry technical, safety, and quality standards.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Providing professional technical support and responding to client service requests.
- HND or B.Sc. Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Electrical Technology, Renewable Energy Technology, or a related discipline.
- 4 to 5 years of relevant hands-on experience as a technician within the renewable or solar energy industry.
- Expertise in solar panel setup, inverter configuration, battery management, and charge controllers.
- Strong proficiency in utilizing electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
- Comprehensive understanding of health, safety, and electrical safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic technical team.
- Flexibility to work on-site and travel to various client locations as required.
