About the Role
Lopterra is seeking a hands-on and customer-focused Technical Support Engineer to drive our operations in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will serve as the primary technical expert responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and support of our advanced energy storage systems, ensuring optimal product reliability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Lead on-site installation, debugging, and functional testing of energy storage systems including lithium batteries, inverters, and BMS/EMS solutions across Nigeria in compliance with safety codes.
- Provide expert technical troubleshooting and support to resolve customer issues promptly via remote tools or on-site visits.
- Conduct comprehensive operation and maintenance training for clients and develop localized user manuals.
- Collaborate with internal R&D and Sales teams to relay product feedback and coordinate logistics with local partners for spare parts.
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in field service, technical support, or maintenance involving power systems, UPS, solar inverters, or battery energy storage.
- Fluent in written and spoken English with exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Prior experience working on technical projects within Nigeria or West Africa with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
