We are currently recruiting a skilled and dedicated Technical Operator on behalf of our esteemed client in the manufacturing sector. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring seamless production operations, maintaining high quality standards, and minimizing downtime in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Set up production machines, including calibration and cleaning, to initiate smooth manufacturing cycles.
- Control and adjust machine settings such as speed and temperature to optimize output.
- Feed raw materials and component parts into semi-automated and automated machinery efficiently.
- Inspect manufactured parts with precision and utilize measuring tools to verify quality.
- Test the operation of machinery periodically to ensure peak performance and safety compliance.
- Troubleshoot and fix operational issues that may occur during the shift promptly.
- Check final output meticulously to spot any machine-related mistakes, defects, or flaws.
- Keep accurate daily records of approved and defective units and maintain detailed activity logs.
- Hold an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or relevant Trade Test certification.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven hands-on experience working as a Technical Operator in the Manufacturing Industry.
