About the Role
Excellence Community Education Welfare Scheme Ltd/Gte (ECEWS) is a leading indigenous non-profit organization dedicated to improving access to quality healthcare, education, and economic strengthening services across Nigeria. Through our CDC/PEPFAR-supported programs, we are committed to transforming public health delivery. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated professional to join our team as a Technical Officer - Pharmacy for the BRIDGE project.
Key Responsibilities- Support comprehensive pharmaceutical service delivery activities at supported health facilities.
- Provide routine, high-quality supportive supervision to facility pharmacy staff.
- Support the implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices in pharmacy commodity management.
- Assist in tracking pharmacy stock levels, consumption patterns, and ongoing commodity needs to prevent stock-outs.
- Deliver against approved milestone plans and quarterly performance targets, integrating services across HIV, TB, malaria, and MNCH platforms.
- Support capacity-building and training activities for pharmacy personnel to ensure sustainable service delivery.
- Facilitate the progressive transfer of health functions to Government of Nigeria ownership.
- Possession of a first degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or Pharm.D) and a valid practicing license.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical services, with prior experience on donor-funded health projects being a distinct advantage.
- Good working knowledge of pharmaceutical management systems and supply chain practices.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and manage site-level relationships.
