About the Role
Excellence Community Education Welfare Scheme Ltd/Gte (ECEWS) is a leading indigenous non-profit organization dedicated to improving access to qualitative healthcare, education, and economic strengthening services across Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Associate Director - Integrated Service Delivery for our health programs. In this pivotal executive leadership role, you will champion our mission by driving excellence in healthcare delivery and program implementation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide overall strategic and technical leadership for the project's integrated HIV, TB, Malaria, and MNCH service delivery portfolio.
- Lead the design, planning, and implementation of state-level integrated service delivery strategies in line with donor and national guidelines.
- Ensure alignment of service integration models with PEPFAR, Global Fund, and Federal Ministry of Health standards.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure consistent application of SOPs across supported facilities and communities.
- Oversee performance monitoring of technical teams, identifying gaps and directing corrective action.
- Build and maintain relationships with state ministries of health, donor representatives, and technical working groups on service integration.
- Represent the project at senior technical and coordination meetings, including donor reviews.
- Guide the development of work plans, technical reports, budgets, and proposal inputs for the service delivery portfolio.
- Mentor and build capacity of technical staff across the integrated service delivery team.
- Deliver against the approved GHSD milestone plan and quarterly performance targets, integrating services and transferring functions to the Government of Nigeria.
- Report to the State Director on program performance, risks, and strategic direction.
- A first degree in Medicine, Nursing, or a health-related field is required.
- A relevant Master's degree is required.
- At least 7 years of experience in HIV/health program management, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior technical leadership or managerial role.
- Demonstrated experience supervising multidisciplinary technical teams on donor-funded health programs.
- Strong knowledge of integrated service delivery models, PEPFAR guidance, and Global Fund reporting requirements.
- Excellent strategic thinking, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- High level of integrity, professional maturity, and sound judgment in decision-making.
