About the Role
Ark of God Schools, a reputable private educational institution with multiple campuses across Ibadan, Oyo State, is seeking a passionate and qualified Technical Drawing Teacher. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing students' spatial reasoning, architectural design comprehension, and foundational engineering drawing skills at the college level. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and structured Technical Drawing lessons in accordance with the approved Nigerian secondary school curriculum.
- Guide students through both manual drafting techniques and introductory computer-aided design (CAD) concepts.
- Assess, grade, and provide constructive feedback on student portfolios, assignments, and practical projects.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and well-equipped drafting studio or classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Prepare students adequately for internal examinations as well as external SSCE assessments.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school co-curricular activities.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), B.Sc. (Ed), HND, or B.Sc. in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant teaching experience in a structured school setting.
- Proficiency in technical drawing instruments and modern drafting software.
