About the Role
Odixcity Consulting, Nigeria's leading foreign outsourcing firm specializing in human resources and procurement, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Technical Drawing Teacher. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in equipping students with vital skills in technical drawing, engineering graphics, and foundational design principles, fostering an environment of precision and academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Teach core technical drawing concepts including orthographic projection, isometric drawing, and accurate dimensioning.
- Guide students practically in the proper use of traditional drawing instruments as well as computer-aided design software where applicable.
- Prepare students comprehensively for national and internal technical drawing examinations.
- Assess, evaluate, and grade students' technical drawings and practical projects with constructive feedback.
- Maintain and manage drawing studio equipment, tools, and learning materials efficiently.
- Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and extreme precision in all student outputs.
- Possession of a B.Ed, B.Sc, B.Eng, or HND in Engineering, Technical Education, Technical Drawing, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated proficiency in both manual drafting techniques and computer-aided drawing software.
- Exceptional attention to detail, spatial awareness, and commitment to graphic accuracy.
- Strong instructional, communication, and classroom management skills to engage diverse learners.
