About the Role
Owolabi University is a newly established private tertiary institution licensed by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in June 2026. Located in Osun State, our mission is to widen access to quality higher education and equip graduates with the skills needed for a fast-changing digital world. We are currently expanding our Faculty of Science and Computing and invite dynamic academics to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions for undergraduate Information Technology students.
- Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and innovative curriculum content in line with NUC standards.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, research assignments, and academic counseling.
- Conduct high-quality, impactful academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees and administrative duties.
- Contribute to community service initiatives and institutional accreditation exercises.
- Possession of a research-based Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.
- Must possess a Master’s Degree result that qualifies for a PhD Degree in the relevant discipline.
- Must have formally registered for a PhD degree program in a reputable university.
- At least one (1) year of full-time post-qualification teaching or research experience in a tertiary institution.
