We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Technical Drawing Educator to join our dynamic academic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional instruction, helping students develop essential spatial reasoning, creativity, precision, and problem-solving skills while embodying our core values of excellence and integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging Technical Drawing lessons in line with the approved curriculum and WAEC/NECO standards.
- Demonstrate correct usage of drawing instruments, materials, and digital design tools.
- Develop students' ability to accurately visualize and represent 3D objects in 2D forms.
- Administer assessments, track academic progress, and provide constructive feedback to support student growth.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and resource-efficient technical drawing studio.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings, school exhibitions, and professional development programs.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Education, Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Relevant teaching certification such as PGDE or NCE.
- Minimum of 4 years of secondary school teaching experience specializing in Technical Drawing.
- Strong knowledge of the Nigerian secondary school curriculum and external examination requirements.
- Proficiency in both manual drafting techniques and computer-aided drawing applications.
