About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a premier provider of technical inspection, staffing, and outsourcing services to the Nigerian oil and gas sector. We are currently seeking a meticulous and dedicated Technical Audits Officer to join our dynamic team in conducting comprehensive technical audits and facility inspections to guarantee optimal asset integrity and operational safety.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute risk-based technical audit plans across facilities, maintenance, fleet, utilities, and real estate operations.
- Audit preventive and corrective maintenance programmes, equipment reliability, asset integrity, and maintenance schedules.
- Maintain accurate asset registers and verify asset data in SAP PM and other CMMS systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections of facilities, equipment, systems, processes, incidents, and operational risks.
- Assess compliance with engineering standards, approved procedures, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports, recommend corrective actions, track findings, and ensure timely closure of audit recommendations.
- Support risk management, governance, and operational control improvements across business units.
- Participate in Permit-to-Work activities, HSE initiatives, and ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2015 certification processes.
- Coordinate technical audit awareness campaigns and support financial audit follow-ups.
- HND or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related STEM discipline.
- Relevant professional auditor training or certification.
- 8 to 12 years of post-NYSC professional experience, with at least 5 years focused on facilities management, maintenance, asset integrity, engineering assurance, or technical auditing.
- Sound knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) principles and Nigerian oil and gas industry practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, with working knowledge of SAP PM, CMMS, SharePoint, and digital auditing tools.
- Strong analytical, technical report-writing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
