About the Role
Dangote Group, Africa's leading diversified conglomerate, is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Talo Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing operations in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our refining process by ensuring the efficient purification of liquor and maintaining high standards of production quality.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor Talo clarification equipment, including clarifiers, pumps, blowers, and Drum Bed Filters (DBF) via the Distributed Control System (DCS).
- Conduct periodic field inspections to monitor equipment performance and verify operational status in real time.
- Ensure all Talo clarification machinery is maintained in optimal working condition and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve production targets.
- Promptly report any equipment faults or malfunctions to the maintenance team for rapid resolution.
- Adhere strictly to refinery safety procedures, Food Safety System Certification (FSSC) requirements, and Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS).
- Minimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE).
- An Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or higher qualification in Engineering or a related discipline is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of DCS operation and troubleshooting.
