About the Role

Veritas Kapital Assurance Plc, one of Nigeria's leading insurance companies, is seeking a dynamic, analytical, and results-driven professional to join our executive team as the Technical Assistant to the Managing Director. Established in 1973 and regulated by NAICOM, we provide comprehensive non-life insurance products and services to individuals and institutions nationwide. In this high-visibility role, you will work closely with the Managing Director to execute corporate strategy, streamline business operations, and coordinate key stakeholder relationships to drive our continued market growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the execution of strategic initiatives, corporate goals, and cross-functional projects across the organization.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver actionable business insights to support executive decision-making.
  • Prepare comprehensive executive reports, presentations, and decision-support materials for the Managing Director and the board.
  • Coordinate executive priorities, manage calendars, and facilitate effective communication across key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Enhance business processes and operational efficiency through data-driven solutions and continuous improvement methodologies.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline; a Master's degree or professional certifications will be an added advantage.
  • 8 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in corporate strategy, business analysis, project management, finance, operations, or executive support.
  • Prior working experience within the insurance, banking, or broader financial services sector is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
