About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a dynamic and skilled Technical and Mall Coordinator to oversee the daily technical and facilities operations of a major commercial shopping environment. In this vital role, you will ensure the seamless functionality, safety, and reliability of all building infrastructure, utilities, and technical services to provide an exceptional experience for tenants and shoppers alike.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate daily technical, maintenance, and facilities operations across the entire mall and its associated properties.
- Supervise maintenance activities encompassing HVAC systems, electrical panels, plumbing, generators, water systems, and fire safety equipment.
- Monitor the operational condition of critical mall equipment, enforcing strict preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
- Liaise with internal technicians, contractors, and external service providers to guarantee prompt resolution of technical faults.
- Manage maintenance work orders, tracking reported issues from inception to resolution within agreed service level timelines.
- Oversee vendor relationships, secure competitive quotations, and rigorously monitor contractor performance.
- BSc or HND in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical discipline.
- 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in facilities management, mall operations, commercial property, or large retail hospitality environments.
- Strong practical expertise in electrical distribution, mechanical systems, HVAC chillers, and building utility management.
- Demonstrated ability in supervising technical teams, third-party contractors, and maintenance vendors.
