About the Role
Egbin Power Plc is one of the largest and most prominent power generation stations in sub-Saharan Africa, strategically located in Lagos, Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Team Lead, Turbine Controls to oversee the maintenance and optimization of our critical turbine systems, ensuring maximum plant efficiency, safety, and environmental sustainability.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance schedules for turbine control systems, ensuring prompt documentation and task closure in the CMMS.
- Maintain expertise in Emerson Ovation control systems and Bentley Nevada vibration monitoring systems.
- Supervise control operations, execute technical troubleshooting, and implement reliability-centered maintenance strategies.
- Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines during all maintenance and operational activities.
- Coordinate spare parts planning, budgeting, procurement support, and technical inspections.
- Manage team performance, identify training needs, and ensure efficient manpower allocation during shifts and routine operations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Systems Engineering.
- Postgraduate degree or relevant professional certifications in engineering or plant management.
- 5 to 10 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity focusing on I&C systems and power plant maintenance.
