About the Role
Moniepoint is a financial technology company digitising Africa’s real economy by building a financial ecosystem for businesses, providing them with all the payment, banking, credit and business management tools they need to succeed. We are looking for a dynamic Team Lead, Systems Administration to join our talent architecture as both a senior individual contributor and a tactical leader.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, coordinate, and coach a team of Systems Administrators to ensure high output quality, adherence to SOPs, and strict SLA compliance.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust hybrid cloud, Windows, Linux, and Proxmox virtualisation infrastructures.
- Manage cloud network environments across GCP, OCI, and Azure, including VPCs, BGP routing, and F5 load balancers.
- Drive workflow automation and AI tool integration using n8n and scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
- Administer enterprise telephony platforms including xCALLY PBX, ensuring optimal voice service uptime and quality.
- Enforce comprehensive IT security policies, identity governance, access controls, and incident response protocols.
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in systems administration, infrastructure, or network engineering.
- At least 2 years of formal or informal team leadership experience, including coaching and performance feedback.
- Advanced proficiency in Linux/Unix administration, Active Directory, cloud networking (GCP, OCI, Azure), and virtualisation (Proxmox).
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible) and monitoring platforms (Prometheus, Grafana).
