Polaris Bank Limited, a leading Systemically Important Bank in Nigeria, is seeking a results-driven and experienced Team Lead Commercial Banking Officer to join our vibrant branch in Kaduna. In this strategic role, you will spearhead commercial lending, nurture key client relationships, and oversee seamless branch operations to drive business profitability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Drive product development by identifying retail and commercial banking needs and analyzing market trends.
- Manage credit risk by evaluating customer financial strength, assessing collateral, and structuring optimal loan terms.
- Lead customer relationship management and handle complex complaints to enhance overall service delivery.
- Oversee commercial lending processes, conduct thorough financial statement analysis, and prepare credit proposals.
- Supervise branch operations, ensuring strict adherence to banking regulations, cash management, and security protocols.
- Promote digital banking solutions and collaborate with internal units to optimize e-commerce and electronic channels.
- Bachelor's degree in Banking & Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Between 3 to 8 years of cognate banking experience, with a strong background in commercial lending and relationship management.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as CIBN, ICAN, ACA, or ACCA are a strong advantage.
