About the Role
Sagar Vitaceuticals Nigeria Limited, a leading name in the Nigerian healthcare industry known for trusted brands like Vitaclox and Vitamox, operates an ultra-modern pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Ikeja, Lagos. We are currently looking for a dedicated and skilled Blistering Machine Operator to join our dynamic production team and contribute to the delivery of safe, high-quality, and affordable pharmaceutical products.
Key Responsibilities- Operate, set up, and monitor automatic and semi-automatic blister packaging machines for pharmaceutical tablets and capsules.
- Perform timely machine and product changeovers, format adjustments, and routine in-process quality checks.
- Ensure correct feeding, sealing, batch numbering, and foil alignment while minimizing material wastage and downtime.
- Conduct and document line clearance procedures in strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and SOPs.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and collaborate with the engineering team to resolve technical faults swiftly.
- Maintain accurate production records, equipment logbooks, and proper reconciliation of packaging materials.
- Minimum of SSCE/OND, with an OND or HND in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Pharmaceutical Technology preferred.
- 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience operating blister packaging machines within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Thorough understanding of GMP, Good Documentation Practices, and in-process quality controls.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
