About the Role
Layer3, a premier enterprise network and ICT solutions provider in Nigeria, is looking for a dynamic and technically proficient Team Lead, Application & IT Support to direct our internal IT operations. In this critical leadership role, you will ensure the seamless performance of our on-premises data centers, cloud services, cybersecurity frameworks, and end-user technologies while mentoring a talented engineering team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design, optimization, and maintenance of enterprise infrastructure, virtualization platforms (Proxmox VE), and SAN/NAS storage environments.
- Administer Microsoft 365, cloud-hosted applications like Odoo ERP, and drive organization-wide VAPT remediation, IAM, and endpoint security controls.
- Coordinate DevOps, MLOps, software workflows, and backend engineering integrations including automated scripts and custom tools.
- Oversee data analytics functions, building centralized operational dashboards and reporting packs for senior leadership.
- Manage 24/7 IT support operations, ITSM ticketing workflows, infrastructure monitoring (Zabbix, Wazuh, Grafana), and hardware asset lifecycles.
- Train, mentor, and guide engineers while participating in strategic tech committees and cost-optimization initiatives.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in IT support, application management, and infrastructure engineering.
- Proficiency in Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems with strong command of networking protocols.
- Demonstrated expertise in cloud services (Azure/AWS), virtualization, cybersecurity hardening, and DevOps pipelines.
- Relevant professional certifications such as ITIL, VMware, CompTIA, or MCDBA are a strong advantage.
